Back to the Future, circa 1984
The Tim Gallant Anthology, Volume 2 features what I figured was my best work from 1984. I was still wet behind the ears, but by 1983, my songs had started to evince at least some signs of growing up, and that continued here.
Lyrically, I was starting to pay some attention to various social issues, as evident from tracks such as “The Drug Bust” and “Lookin’ Away” (my shot at an anti-abortion screed).
To have something recorded for some of the better material, I did these rough recordings in the mid 2000s. Audio and lyrics below.
All recordings here are subject to possible future polishing.
